Non-contact photoplethysmography (rPPG) does not require a device to be attached to the user’s body and can be used on exposed skin areas such as the face or palms. Under Alban lighting, various biometric information can be analyzed by using computer vision and deep learning algorithms by detecting subtle changes in blood flow in the skin and color (Red, Green, Blue) caused by physical activities such as heart and breathing and amplifying them.
